The cover story

The Amalfi coast, in lower gear.

Not the wedding photos version. A four-day itinerary between Ravello and Praiano, mostly on foot, sometimes on a lemon boat.

Positano cliffside village at golden hour
Itinerary · four days

Two lemons, three sunsets, one very good argument about spritz.

Wake up in Ravello, argue about spritz in Praiano, forgive each other on a boat off Positano. Our four-day plan replaces the highlight-reel with long lunches and a rented Vespa you're allowed to be scared of.

Steal these

Six itineraries built for two headstrong people.

We only publish trips one of us has actually taken with someone we're still speaking to. Each itinerary lists the room, the walk, the restaurant we booked twice, and the disagreement we didn't quite avoid.

None of them are longer than a week. All of them assume you don't want to be on your phone. Two of them can be done from Rome in a rental car and a very good playlist.

One letter, once a month, from wherever we've booked.
